I got an Email with a full diagnostic report on the status of my car, work that was completed along with recommendations for keeping it running efficiently. Brought my 2006 Volvo V70 in to diagnose and find the leak in the A/C system. They at first told me it was the high- and low-side Schrader valves, but I knew that wasn't the cause because I'd checked them before taking the car in and they tested fine. They told me it was the Schraders, so they replaced them, charged the system up, and had me come pick it up. The A/C blew warm air ON THE WAY HOME from Rocco's. I called to inform them of this and they said to bring it back in. This time, they said it was the evaporator. Well, I'd already replaced (DIY) the compressor and condenser, so it was logical that the third major component in the system - the evaporator - was at fault. I paid them for the diagnosis but didn't have them do the fix as their quote was around $4500. I ended up doing the evap replacement myself, PITA that it was. And guess what? The system STILL wouldn't hold a charge! In other words, after the painstaking effort to replace the evaporator, that wasn't the issue. I know it didn't leak after the evap replacement due to faulty workmanship as I'm a pretty good shadetree mechanic and I was methodical in doing the swap out. Recently, I had my BMW serviced at Rocco’s European Garage (Buckhead) location. The entire team was extremely professional, courtesy and knowledgeable. The total cost of the repair was actually less than my preliminary estimates. Therefore in the future, I will definitely use Rocco’s exclusively to handle all of my car care needs! My husband drives a Porsche Macon. The first time I dropped his car off for service here about a year ago I was a bit floored with the experience. It’s as nice as a Porsche dealership and honestly feels a bit more exclusive. I used to drive a Cayenne and loved getting service at the dealership because of how they roll out the red carpet and make you feel like an A-Lister. As an F1 fan it made me feel like I was walking into an F1 shop with the cleanliness and professionalism. As a female I was so happy their bathrooms are so clean and nice and it feels nothing like your standard shop but instead like an exclusive club. I never once felt like I was getting the “typical female treatment”, not even a little.The staff is welcoming the minute you open the door. Typically, my husband enjoys working on our cars because he knows how to do it, because he knows it will be done right and from what I can tell he likes spending time on the cars. After taking his car here for something he did not have time for, he has gone back several times. I am usually part of the drop off and pick up and it always feels the same - wonderful. Rocco’s did a pre-purchase inspection on a 2020 Porsche Cayenne. They were very professional and answered all of my questions. They also looked up any open recalls and this gave me confidence in my purchase. My wife loves this car. Thanks Rocco’s!
